How does the mens ice hockey comp work?How many groups, who gets to play who in the semi's?

I don't follow ice hockey but want to understand what's happening in the olympics. Who do you think will win%26gt;

What chance is Canada?|||There first is a round robin with 3 groups of 4 teams each. At the end of the round robin every team qualifies for the playoff part, but the top teams get a bye into the semi finals and easier match ups for them.

I think that the 4 teams with the biggest chance of winning would be: Canada, Russia, USA, and Sweden. They all have a good chance, but i would put my money on Russia, as they have a very skilled team and have won the past 2 world championships.
