What is the difference between Lacrosse and Hockey gloves?

My son is starting to play lacrosse, and they say he needs gloves. He has hockey gloves. Can he use these, or is there a difference in the gloves?|||I would suggest gatting new lacrosse gloves because hockey gloves are to stiff and lacrosse gloves are more flexible so you can easily catch and throw|||I played 20 yrs with ice hockey gloves all types the best gloves because you never hurt your hands

|||you can play lacrosse with hockey gloves but it will limit your mobility and make cradling, passing, shooting and almost everything more difficult.

|||The main difference is that in hockey gloves have two digets in each finger where lacrosse gloves have three. Which as you could imagine will limit his mobility. If your son is just begining lacrosse this will not be a big problem.Any more questions go to http://lacrosserule.webs.com/
