How should i start to play hockey?

I'm 14 and am interested in playing hockey. I've neer played before and am woungering if I should go for it. Any sugestions?|||Can you skate? If so, you got part of it covered...Check your local rink, they may have some beginner classes to get a hang of it..Ice time is cheaper now with Spring and summer coming up so it's a good time to learn..Equipment is expensive however...Check ebay, a used equipment store, or if you're school has a team they may be able to help you out|||It depends on whatever skills you currently have already. Have you been playing for a while, just not organized games? Do you know how to skate? Can you give and take a hit? Just find the skills that you do not do well in, and maybe look up some techniques online. If you don't know how to skate, you can easily learn how and be pretty descent in about a week. If you roller blade, but don't ice skate, ice skating is just a small step further.|||You have to go to the ice rink near your home and see with the guys who work here what are the conditions to enter first the practice and then the team, if your skilled enough it won't be a problem

from Valenciennes, north of France|||Well, if you can't skate I recommend you enrole in power skating and skate lots. If you can skate still pratice lots. Also enrole into some sort of hockey school. Spend lots of time at an outdoor rink and shoot and stick handle lots.|||Yeah! Just go for it! Hockey is a great game! Just grab a stick and ball and see if you like it. If you do then start playing at a local club!|||just pick up hockey stick and hit the ball ...........its easy na
