What kind of hockey stick is best for playing on the street?

I currently use a wooden hockey stick when playing on the street and the blade gets smaller and smaller. I am considering buying a composite hockey stick? Will a composite hockey stick be better when playing on the street. Because the road is rough, it scrapes off the wooden blade? I am wondering if a composite stick will be better?|||ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! The very best blades for road hockey are the ones that cost 2 bucks at a Canadian Tire or at any sports store. They are the harden plastic white blades that you can curve by hand. When you buy one, make sure to buy the white plastic and they are very hard, the will last alot longer. Don't waste your money on a wooden stick on the road, and REALLY REALLY REALLY don't waste your money on a composite stick on the road.|||you can use whatever you want

if you are rich like one of my friends (who gets a new stick every week) just use whatever you want outside.

Or you could use an old stick

Otherwise, buy the $3 dollar sticks that have replaceable blades. The one pieces wil just ware away the blades 2 fast. I am talking about plastic blades with wooden handles.|||WHY in the world would you be using a wooden hockey stick for street hockey? Did you not think it was going to wear down? Go to the local sports store and get a stick with a white plastic blade, I have won and I love it,|||jester has the best answer. and the sidney girl pointed out the obvious.

plastic stick for road hockey. white plastic stick lasts the longest.

i also play a lot of street hockey. go to canadian tire.|||None! I hate street hockey. Go to the rink.|||plastic
